Beginner’s Guide: A detailed guide for players who are new to Minecraft

Welcome to Oxygen Network’s Minecraft server, where the only thing that’s higher than the air quality is our player count! As a new player, you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed by the endless possibilities of the game. Don’t worry, though; we’ve got you covered. This beginner’s guide will teach you everything you need to know to survive and thrive on our server.

Let’s dive in!

Getting Started: What is Minecraft?

First things first, let’s make sure we’re all on the same page here. Minecraft is a sandbox game that allows players to explore, build, and survive in a blocky, pixelated world. The game has two main modes: Survival and Creative.

Survival mode is where you’ll spend most of your time. Here, you’ll need to gather resources, build shelter, and fend off monsters. Creative mode is where you can unleash your inner artist and build to your heart’s content without worrying about pesky things like hunger or enemies.

Joining Oxygen Network’s Minecraft Server

To join our server, you’ll need to have a Minecraft account and the Java edition of the game. Once you’re all set up, launch Minecraft and select “Multiplayer” from the main menu. Then, click “Add Server” and enter the following information:

Server Name: Oxygen Network
Server Address: play.oxygenetwork.in

Bedrock IP- oxygenetwork.in:30000

Once you’ve added the server, click “Join Server,” and you’ll be whisked away to our blocky wonderland.

Surviving Your First Night: Don’t Get Caught Without a Home

The first thing you’ll need to do when you spawn into our world is to find shelter. Trust us; you don’t want to be caught out in the open when night falls. If you do, you’ll quickly find yourself swarmed by monsters, and nobody wants that.

To gather resources, start by punching trees (yes, you read that right). Punching trees will give you wood, which you can use to make tools and build your first shelter. From there, you can gather more resources like stone, coal, and iron.

Building Your First Home: The Basics

Now that you’ve got some resources, it’s time to build your first home. Don’t worry if you’re not an architect; nobody’s expecting you to build a mansion just yet.

Start by building a small structure with walls and a roof. You can use any materials you like, but we recommend building with cobblestone or wood. Make sure your shelter has a door, so monsters can’t get in, and you’re good to go.

Gathering Resources: The Bare Necessities

To survive on our server, you’ll need to gather resources. Here’s a quick rundown of the basics:

Wood: Gathered by punching trees. Can be used to make tools, weapons, and buildings.

Stone: Gathered by mining with a pickaxe. Can be used to make more advanced tools and buildings.

Coal: Gathered by mining with a pickaxe. Used as fuel for furnaces and torches.

Iron: Gathered by mining with a stone pickaxe or higher. Used to make more advanced tools, weapons, and armor.

Food: Gathered by killing animals or farming. Necessary to keep your hunger bar full, so you don’t starve.

Exploring Oxygen Network’s Minecraft Server

Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s time to start exploring our server. We’ve got a huge world filled with all sorts of biomes, from lush forests to barren deserts. Take your time and explore everything our server has to offer.

And that’s it, folks! You’re now ready to take on Oxygen Network’s Minecraft server like a pro. Remember to have fun, be respectful to other players, and most importantly, don’t forget to take breaks!

Here are a few additional tips to keep in mind as you explore the server:

Keep an eye out for other players. Minecraft is a multiplayer game, and you’ll likely run into other players as you explore the server. Be respectful and don’t take things that don’t belong to you. Remember, sharing is caring!

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you’re struggling to find resources or build your shelter, don’t hesitate to ask other players for help. Most players are more than happy to lend a hand, especially if it means making new friends on the server.

Explore, explore, explore. Oxygen Network’s Minecraft server is full of hidden treasures, secret caves, and other surprises. Take some time to explore the world around you and see what you can discover.

Be prepared for anything. Minecraft can be unpredictable at times, and you never know what might happen next. Always be prepared for the unexpected, whether it’s a sudden rainstorm, an unexpected attack from a group of monsters, or a surprise encounter with another player.
